Spare A Sunday Brain Cell For The Child Who Almost Got This Cursed Minion Cake For His B-Day

There's something about cursed cakes that really sends the internet into a frenzy. For instance, we remember the notorious "poo with sprinkles" cake disaster and the CakeGate drama of April 2023 that had online users in an uproar. Now, CakeTok has graced us with yet another intriguing tale.

Our story begins with a TikToker from the US, who goes by the username @bbygirls0s0. She shared the preparations for her son's birthday party, which had a minions theme. In case you're unfamiliar with minions, they are those yellow creatures from the Despicable Me series.

After she posted a video showing the party decorations, she uploaded a second TikTok revealing an epic cake fail from H-E-B — a supermarket chain in the US.

"I just picked up my son's minion cake from H-E-B, and this is the ugliest fucking thing I've ever seen," the mother declared in her TikTok, which has attracted over 16.6 million views.

"It's totally fixable, and I'm not that picky, so I just took it. But this is the ugliest fucking thing ever."

The TikToker proceeded to show the inspiration for her cake, which was a simple round cake with a minion's face. Honestly, as someone who doesn't bake, I think I could attempt this design. That's how straightforward it seems!

She then explained that the employee asked if she wanted an ombre design, to which she declined, adding that she didn't want it to be fancy.

The TikTok then cuts to the "this is what I got" moment, and it absolutely floored me.

Absolutely stunned. Speechless. SHOOK.

The cake is nothing like the request. They even added the ombre effect she specifically said she didn't want.

The goggles and mouth are missing. Instead of writing on the bottom of the cake, they've added a random ribbon, and let's not even mention the eyes' placement.

In a TikTok update, the mother showed how she managed to fix her son's cake, and thank goodness she could transform that disaster.

"Look how cute it turned out," she remarked.

"Lesson learned: I will not be going to H-E-B again. They messed me up."

A Woman Has Gone Viral For Sharing The Fked Moment Her Foot Got Bent On A Gold Coast Ride

According to cakeprices.com, custom cake orders from the supermarket chain range from USD$8.98 to USD$49.98. Their official site also mentions that you only need to give your store a 24-hour notice, which seems quite short to me.

Under the original video, many people shared their own cake horror stories involving the supermarket chain. Others simply laughed at the epic fail.

"I had HEB do my wedding cake because I had a super simple design. They messed up SO BAD. It was delivered on wedding day & I had to redo it myself," one person shared.

"When you said 'it's totally fixable' I was not expecting THAT," another TikToker commented.

"Nothing could have prepared me for the reveal," noted a third.
